About Telugu Film Om Namo Venkatesaya 

If not for K Raghavendra Rao and Akkineni Nagarjuna, we wouldn't have had an Annamayya, a Sri Ramadasu, a Shirdi Sai, and now Om Namo Venkatesaya.  The very combination raises expectations.

In this flick based on the life and legend of Haathi Ram Baba, Nag plays the legendary saint, while Hindi actor Saurabh plays the Lord Balaji.  K Raghavendra Rao has this time gone for a young-looking actor, perhaps believing that the Lord's image among devotees is that way.

While Nag's first look is awaited, Saurabh, the tall and well-built actor is looking serene enough to reflect the right 'rasa'.  Flanked by his consorts (played by two less-known actresses), the Lord is full of grace.

Written by JK Bharavi and music-directed by MM Keeravani, it has Anushka, Pragya Jaiswal and others among its cast.
